It's a very quick decision to made on Malacca visit, Andrew suggest it to me while we are having dinner few days ago. I was thinking since it was like about 4 years ago since I last visit there? Maybe it's good to be there again since Andrew also highly recommended that the place we gonna stay will be quite cool. I buy his idea! so the trip is onzzzz...!

 

 

STAYS

we will stay at Cyclaman Cottage, suggested by Andrew after his research on this area seems quite new and the owner is friendly, the rates are reasonable. We have a good time there, I have dedicated a section for this and I took quite a bit of the pictures except the interior of the room as I must admit I miss that out totally. Me bad! but trust me, the place is decent place to stays, the facilities are good too. what you need is there, LCD TV, hot shower, nice bed to sleep, new air con.

 

 

LAYERS

This is a dedicated series specially tribute to the effort from our neighbour country singapore whose university spent millions bought over this building and rebuild it as part of their architecture studies, we have been introduced by our hotel owner Mr Lee who highly recommended us to pay a visit and no doubt, we enjoy our time there, shooting good pictures and understanding about the effort behind this restoration project. I do hope our Malaysian too will put the same (if not more) effort to protect and maintain the history left to us. The pictures here are treated with black and white treatment and some tight cropped photo to show the layers of histories we had during the years.

 

 

SEE&EAT

Go for a walk or relax by "The Jonker Street" From here you can see unique sights of Malacca. A popular meeting place for tourist as well as the local people. We spent almost 2 whole day just around this Jonker street, enjoying the foods, the sights and the happy camera. I have put all the pictures related to what I saw, the foods we enjoyed and some interesting sights.

Inspired by many good photographer not just spent time on capturing brilliant pictures, hours spent on processing them but also spent time to give the pictures a nicer place to showcase them.

This is experiement web site which I try to play around with CSS, and Jquery. I didn't manage to create what I have in mind but nevertheless, I have to get it done first and fine tune later for next project.

Camera use? canon 5d, I have two lense with me but most of them is 24-70mm 2.8 L attached while I let my wife use my workhorse 16-35mm 2.8 L, with 270Ex flash attached but most of my pictures are shot without flash.

I like black and white pictures since my thaipusam project kick started, so you will see good lots of black and white and as well as colours in this series. These pictures treated on adobe lightroom v3 and photoshop for some final touch before I use dashcode for my php and html programming work. That's all.
