My dream session finally arrived, FSA engage me to be their cover their 2011 most massive event. I feel honour and glad I’m part of their plan.
This is massive!!!!!!
I’m glad that I found my pictures are used in latest Paul Van Dyk’s site!
Hello world, hello everyone… my name is Mark Foo, before I was given the name Mark, everyone call me “little M” due to my mom and dad also carry “M” in their names.
Time flies, after almost 9 months of hiding inside my mummy’s stomach… and I still resist to come out to see the world, Dr decided to force me to come out instead of still enjoying kicking and sleeping inside my warm mummy’s stomach.
After PVD, I had an opportunity to have “Therapy” session with this year my favorite album, Above & Beyond’s Group Therapy. My first time at this new venue, KL Life. The special about this gig is that it’s has a lot “live” elements which I think it’s fun and able to interact with the crowds too! cool!
This series will be heavy pictures pages and thanks for your patience.
That will be cool if you can play the podcast from Above&Beyond TARW
Getting Ready???? Let’s start the show! Hello KL?????
I must confess that this is one of the best DJ event I ever attended in Malaysia, impressive stage lighting, mind blowing effects, world famous DJ PVD on stage, a all access photographer pass for me to cover this event. What else I can ask for? (Heavy loading of pictures. thanks for your patience!!!)
Decided to take a studio session to take some pregnancy shots before melvin junior arrive.
Have check with good friend iF studio which is nearby my house, actually I only have few shots in mind that I want to take but the rest is more or less impromptu.
Wei Siang, a friend that I know since the first year of photokaki.com founded, he is my guest of speakers for colour management. We lost contact until we met again at his father’s event (I bump into his dad more than I meet him…lolx), with facebook, we tend to get updates more frequent than ever.
He get me as his wedding photographer few months before during his planning stage. This was one of the few only wedding event that I actually shot for the year, I have stopped doing wedding photography for years except for my relative / in-laws. Partly due to tight schedule and demanding job that quite impossible for me to plan out my event. I happily accepted that when I hear the news he getting married.

(EXIF: iso 1250, f2.8, 1/20s, 24-70mm 2.8 L)
I couldn’t make it for 9 god eve shooting as I have pending works that need to get it done on that day. This round, my visit more on just come back for praying instead of covering. Have few casual shots and want to share with my friends here. Hope you like it.
Decided to put my faith on 24-70mm, the lense that I hardly use for my event shooting as I found it focusing is not as fast as I wish for my canon 5d mk2. Usually 16-35mm 2.8 L will be my main lense when come to this kind of event coverage.
I enjoy capturing the natural moments of people behavior or portraits. I notice this is their best portrait for them.
Looking through the viewfinders, I think I have train up when to press at the right moment. that’s part of the reason why I love shooting
wedding assignment especially actual day. This time, let me share some of the photos I’ve took recently.
This lovely japanese TV host was shot during Japan GT race at Sepang, SIC. Malaysia. She was on the way and bump into one of the driver and she
politely smile and greet the driver. Equipped with 300mm/2.8, I just seize the moment and press the button, I’m happy with this picture. So much
story inside.
oh yes, i fully agreed on that. Was at Japan GT Sepang covering this annual sports event, saw the stage and bump into elaine whereby she told me that there will be DJ events after the race on Saturday.
After a long day at the track, AG, Geoffery, Michael Yeoh and I decided to try to see what we can shoot, I didn’t know Dj Shah was there until the next day!!! how sad, as i decided to went back around 11pm due to have to make it for sunway final japan GT event.
Definitely one of the best show I ever attend / shot. too bad i’m not the official photog, i’m thinking it must be fun to be able to capture on the stage and I’m constantly visualizing what pics I can capture if i were on the stage.
photos taken with canon mk2, lense? 16-35mm and 50mm (that’s my longest lense as my 300/2.8 left it in the locker in sepang media centre)
First time saw DJ Arnej and Mari Ferrari in action, they are awesome!!!!
Bump into Wennessa and Elaine too at the night, really enjoy the show, manage to take a test video shots too!
