Finally after days of css-ing and code tweaking, design considerations and changing of size and pictures. I’m happy to share with you about my stories and pictures on my recent Malacca trip. The title i choose base on the recent taiwan movie i like “au voir taipei”, in chinese movie title is call “one page taipei”, so I’m thinking it’s kind of good idea to name it my series as one page series as it’s kind of intro or page I understand or captured about the place i visited.
I actually have few set of pictures that I should have published or shared with you all long time ago, namely singapore and taiwan series. So maybe after this I will create up new series to singapore and taiwan.
So overall, I’m quite happy with the first start, I give it to 70 marks on overall and definitely there are rooms for improvements. Do feel free to check them out and comments & feedbacks are all welcome. thanks

I have been wanted to do my photography portfolio or project as web site or web series, inspired by various good photographer such as frogfree. I have spent quite a bit of time to research on CSS and jquery, it’s been like many years since I last serious into programming, no doubt.. its quite a challenge to me.
Have spent whole day working on the malacca series, only manage to get it done on 1 section and 3 more to go, as current time, I have manage to complete 2 and 2 more to go (which include 1 introduction about my series). Kind of happy with my creations although it’s a bit different from what I wanted to be. Nevertheless, it’s will be a good start for me and hopefully I can launch this in two days time!
A preview screen shots for what I’m going to do with my malacca series. Hope you will like it.
It’s been for few years since I last visit Malacca, this trip suppose to be “makan” trip or the trip main focus on ‘fooooooods’, sounds fun right? yup, we had a good time there, lots of cendol(s), food(s) and picture(s).
Guess what, for 2 days worth of trip, we main spent time on 2 street! yup, jonker street and the other street call Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock.
there will be some sub series which dedicate to some special site or topics that I would like to share with you guys.
more pics will be uploading soon. ;-)
hang out with few friends at Sunway Pyramid area for the last game of the world cup.

My sleeping time all mess up due to this world cup. Can’t wait to ‘tune back’ to normal one sooner or later, I find this year’s world cup doesn’t really have “interesting” goals or games compared to last world cup.
Having followed from the qualifying games, I have fonds of the way germany played, it’s cool and deadly. too bad they end up at 3rd placing but being a young team, it’s bright future for them.
tell me your experience of your world cup will ya?
more pics at photokaki (as usual) http://www.photokaki.com/forum/showthread.php?39351-world-cup-final-sunway&p=427534
it’s been awhile since I last blogged.. feel so guilty >_<
I have not been regularly “work” in my study room, most of the time I spent time on my dining tables or in front of my TV at my living room >_<!
Decided to make a change!
The layout was changed, the computers and the desk all change in order to make more spaces, allowing perhaps a mini sofa there to chill out there? :p
not sure, this is just for a start, still hesitating about where should i park my PC.
spent 10 days across taiwan, my first trip since my graduate (can’t believe that right?) Yes, I have not travel out of country (apart from singapore) for more than 12 years.
This round, arm with my trusty canon 5D, 16-35 and 24-105 (thanks johnny wong!), it was my honeymoon with my wify and I want to make this her happy trip.. We indeed have great time there! 2D of free and easy at taipei and 7 days of round taiwan (summary) trip.. I have learn a lot about this country. I like this country.
I have been long reader of taiwan magazines (business, lifestyle etc) and I have quite good understand about the companies, some of the foods, the things I can see and buy etc. We have so much expectations and to do list out there!

We went to frogdesign cafe, ppaper cafe etc..
I will share my thoughts and understandings on next blog!
I can feel the pain without my belove 70-200mm, what happen to this lense? (ok.. I shall repeat again the stories, it gone to new owner without my permissions), the lense lost at my friends house during recent break in.. pity him more as all the lense with his 7D also gone as well.
I must thank organiser again for allowing such opportunity to shot this prestigious annual event of STYLO 2010. I truly enjoy shooting especially fashion show, getting a good view, happy listen to good songs, expose to designer’s latest creations. Life is not that bad right?

using brian’s 70-200mm with 5d, Iso500, 1/640 @ f3.5 (the stage lights really really not consistent at all)
complete Jendela KL series here.
I don’t usually blog my personal problems, I must admit in my private life.. I just told my wife that we have one of the major hurdle to get over, I’m sure we will get thru it.God will show you the way and you believe in it.
Just came back from last day of the stylo event, will post them in photokaki.com probably in 48 hrs time. it’s kind of late but i think i should have finish process them first before call it a day.
finally have the opportunity to cover this event, all these while I have no way to get media access to this event. Got a surprise email from the organiser and woot! make sure my meeting is on time and allow me to reach this event. The rain manage to stop on time as well! thank god..

Since my old blog – ‘wipe out’, due to my silly mistakes.
I decided to re-post my thaipusam collection series, started on 2008. My First year coverage to this holy event, one of my most memorable event and since then I already decided to make it my personal projects, and now 2010…. its kind of my spiritual visits and each time I document this event, the understand goes another level deeper.

the photokaki.com server upgrade makes the searching history a true challenge, i must admit this is a ‘costly’ lesson for me.

when I convert this picture to black and white, from that day onwards.. my love to black and white goes beyond words..
I just love to process the pics in black and white now
………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..
I have been ‘process’ my thaipusam for so many months and I must beat myself not to do it faster..
hopefully more pics will be available soon…
none other than Armin Van Buuren, very young.. I just love the podcast as well as most of his songs.
This the the second time armin and I really glad that I have given opportunity to have a close encounter and freezing the moments using my work horse canon 5d (verson 1), armed with my no 1 lense.. 16-35mm 2.8 (version 1 also), it’s always feel good to be there.
